Broken Cape Coast-Twifo Praso Road Fixed
The Ghana Highway Authority (GHA), acting on behalf of the Ministry of Roads and Highways, has reopened the Cape Coast-Twifo Praso road in the Central region, which had been blocked following the collapse of the bridge.
After the Ministry announced that the Cape Coast–Two Praso Road was impassable during the weekend, the road was re-opened on Monday, June 20, 2022.
Due to recent torrential rains in sections of the region, a bridge washed out, causing a cut-off near Jukwa.
GHA indicated that it made all required procedures to have the road reopened as quickly as possible.
The Cape Coast – Yamoransa(N1) Assin Fosu,Twifo Praso (N8) Road was recommended to motorists traveling between Cape Coast and Twifo Praso.
