Bawumia Is Now Suffering From ‘Economic Sore Throat’ – NDC Communicator
The Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has lost his voice in debates about the current economic crisis, according to a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communications Team.
On Thursday, March 17, Beatrice Annan Esq. expressed surprise at how the former “economic Messiah” has now rebranded as an “IT specialist.”
The Vice President, she says, is suffering from an “economic sore throat.”
Ms. Annan gave these descriptions while participating in a discussion on TV3’s New Day.
The topic of discussion was the rising expense of living as a result of higher petroleum product prices.
She reiterated that, as Dr. Bawumia had stated while her party was in power, the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration is suffering from “disgrace” and “exposure” in the light of the country’s failing economy.
According to her, “the current happening in the country shows that when the fundamentals of any economy is weak, the exchange rate will not only expose you, it will disgrace you and it will further cause the leader of an Economic Management Team to be in abeyance and probably rebrand from being an economic wizkid to an IT expert or perhaps a silent man suffering from what I will call economic sore throat. These guys do not know what they are doing. Absolutely governance has been reduced to naught.”
