Asiedu Nketiah Must Immediately Be Sacked From Parliament – Koku Anyidoho
Former Presidential Spokesperson Samuel Koku Anyidoho has demanded Johnson Asiedu Nketia’s expulsion from the Parliamentary Service Board (PSB) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) (NDC).
Mr. Asiedu Nketia, he added, has engaged in egregious anti-party behavior and has tarnished the name of Parliament.
This follows remarks made by the NDC General Secretary last month while speaking to the Ashanti Region Youth Wing of his party.
This man is a member of the Parliamentary Services Board, & he is advocating for the slapping of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament? He must immediately be sacked from the PSB! This is gross anti-party conduct & against the constitution of the NDC. He must be sacked from the NDC! pic.twitter.com/1A3E8GU5WZ

He had said that a Deputy Speaker deserved a smack to guarantee that he did not vote during the sessions he presided over.
“So long as impunity will not stop, resistance has been imposed on us as a duty,” General Mosquito, as he is affectionately called, told the youth supporters of his party on Sunday, February 6. If a Deputy Speaker decides to vote and at the same time play the role of a referee if slapping him will make him do the right thing, don’t hesitate,” he directed the comments to the party’s representatives in Parliament.
However, former Deputy NDC General Secretary Anyidoho believes Mr. Asiedu Nketia’s views are a joke, only days after the Supreme Court declared that the First Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei Owusu, used his constitutional right to vote despite being president of the proceedings in Parliament describing it as
“gross anti-party conduct and against the constitution of the NDC”.
“He must be sacked from the NDC,” he insisted in a tweet on Friday, March 11.
