Ashiaman Man Caught With 228 Parcels Of “Wee”
The Tema Police have busted a ‘wee dealer” with over 228 parcels of wee.
Police say they received a tipoff and drug operation which involved the transport of the wee parcels from Gbetsele to Accra.
Police say because the suspects have been on their wanted list for a while they mounted an operation on Tuesday, November 23.
The suspect at the time of the arrest had hidden the drugs in a very secure manner but managed to retrieve the drugs when Haruna Iddrisu was taken into custody.
Surveillance search also revealed that is the main distributor of the drugs as well.
In all 228 slabs of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, we’re collected.
Members of the general public have also been encouraged to be vigilant at all times and to timely report suspicious characters or activities.
