President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo congratulated Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, on his re-election as the country’s political leader.

After a 58.5 percent vote margin, the French President was re-elected for a second term, making him the first French leader to be re-elected in 20 years.

After finishing first and second among the 12 candidates who participated in the first round on April 10, 2022, Macron faced off against Le Pen in a runoff.

To commemorate Macron’s victory, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo stated on his social media accounts that he believes Macron’s victory indicates France’s future is secure.
