In honor of the late British Queen Elizabeth II, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has ordered that all official flags in the nation fly at half-staff for seven days starting on Friday, September 9, 2022.

The Queen, the longest-reigning head of state in the UK, passed away at Balmoral Castle on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96.

To honor the Queen, Nana Akufo-Addo mandated that all flags fly at half-staff for seven days.
