Achimota Forest Brouhaha: Sir John’s Full Will
Many Ghanaians reacted angrily to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s decision to declassify parts of the Achimota Forest as a forest reserve by signing an executive instrument.
Nothing was heard of Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, also known as Sir John, until he died as the Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission.
His will, which was seen by VimNewsGhana, included four plots of land in the Achimota Forest, which the late politician handed to specific persons.
