Accra Stay By Floods
Following torrential rains on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, key streets in Accra and some homes are now underwater.
The flooding affected various locations, including parts of the Central Business District, Kwame Nkrumah Interchange, Sahara, Odawna, Shiashie, Mateheko, and Kaneshie First Light.
The rain is anticipated to last into the early morning, according to a Facebook post from the Ghana Meteorological Agency.
Social media was used by several people to vent their annoyance at the amount of flooding in the nation’s capital, which they felt had become a yearly ritual.
