Accra FM’s Bobbie Ansah Was Arrested For Publication Of False News- Police
Kwabena Bobbie Ansah of Accra FM was detained on Thursday, according to the Greater Accra Regional Police Command, in connection with an alleged case of false news publication and abusive behaviour.
Mr. Ansah’s detention was required, according to the police, after he turned down multiple invitations to help with investigations.
“In due course, the Accra Regional Police Command will issue a complete comment on the incident,” the statement continued.
The broadcaster was apprehended at the Class Media Group’s gate shortly after 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, just as his daily show, ‘The Citizen Show,’ ended.
