4 NPP Delegates Arrested In Elections
Four New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates have been detained in Okaikwei South for impeding the party’s constituency elections.
The ruling party started electing new executives for various positions at the constituency level today.
Some delegates in the Okaikwei South Constituency threatened to obstruct processes that would ensure the election’s success.
The police were called in to help. Fisticuffs broke out between some police officers and the delegates as a result of this.
To prevent the police from assuring the election’s success, several delegates pelted stones.
The police fought back, and four of the delegates were eventually apprehended.
The van transporting EC officials finally got access to the Prince of Peace School at Bubuashi, according to reports.
